The program provides free kits that will be made available, no questions asked, in the following locations:

The Drug Overdose Prevention Program grant covers 40 counties in Illinois, providing free opioid education, overdose awareness and prevention, as well as Naloxone (Narcan) training and distribution. These services are provided by full or in part by a contract with Unitypoint Health UnityPlace, from the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery, as part of the Illinois Opioid State Targeted Response grant from the U.S Department of Health and Human Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
