In lieu of Trick-or-Treat with Abe, Lincoln Heritage Museum will be
offering free admission with the donation of a non-perishable food
item, October 26-31.
Due to ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, Lincoln
Heritage Museum made the difficult decision to cancel the annual
Trick-or-Treat with Abe event. Each year, Lincoln Heritage Museum
collects donations for the Logan County Food Pantry during
Trick-or-Treat with Abe, and due to this cancelation, the Logan
Country Food Pantry stands to lose hundreds of donated food items.
In order to lessen the impact of canceling Trick-or-Treat with Abe
on the Logan County Food Pantry, Lincoln Heritage Museum will offer
free admission with the donation of a non-perishable food item
during the last week of October.

“The most difficult part of canceling Trick-or-Treat with Abe was knowing the
affect it would have on the Logan County Food Pantry, which has grown accustomed
to a significant donation every October,” Interim Lincoln Heritage Museum
Director, Olivia Partlow stated. “Because of that, I’m so pleased that the
Museum was able to find a way to still make a difference despite the
cancelation.”
Lincoln Heritage Museum is open Tuesday through Friday 9 am to 4 pm and Saturday
1 to 4 pm. Non-perishable food donations will be collected in lieu of Museum
admission, October 26-31 only.
Visitors are also encouraged to consider donating their admission fee to help
support the Museum’s mission to “Learn from Lincoln, Live like Lincoln!”
