[September 21, 2020]  As you are aware due to concerns over the coronavirus Governor Pritzker has closed down all public schools, restaurants, and bars. Many public libraries have decided to close as well.

The director and board of the Lincoln Public Library District have made the difficult decision to close the Lincoln Public Library until further notice at 1:00 today, March 16, 2020. This was not a decision that was made lightly, however the safety of our patrons and staff is our highest priority and will remain so.

No fines or late fees will be accrued during this time.

All items on holds will be extended until one week after the library reopens.
