With Halloween just around the corner, Gary and Cindy Snyder of Lincoln are already out getting their front yard display set up. The couple lives on North Kickapoo Street next door to the Ace Hardware. They began working on their display last week with the intention of having it all put together by the first of October.

Jason - Friday the 13th

Freddy Krueger - Nightmare on Elm Street

Pennywise - It

Billy - Saw

The display features some well-known characters from popular spooky movies. Among those characters are Jason from “Friday the 13th,” Pennywise from “It” and Freddy Krueger from “Nightmare on Elm Street.” The clownish looking character on the tricycle is Billy, the puppet from “Saw” and the Crypt Keeper from “Tales from the Crypt” are also in the front yard.

Supplementing the fear of the characters from the movies are a variety of other scenes. A graveyard with creatures coming up from their resting spots, some gnarly looking witches and a variety of skeletal creatures add to the fear factor of the lawn.

Gary and Cindy have built several objects including the guillotine behind Freddy and the black fencing around the lawn.

There are two huge inflated characters and an archway that were purchased pre-made. The archway is new this year, as is a large white ghost.

The Snyder’s enjoy Halloween and sharing their spooky imagination with others via their front yard display. They encourage folks to drive by and walk by to take it all in.

They do request visitors not come into the lawn for the safety of the public and the display.

So, if you love Halloween be sure to get out and see this great display. Thanks to the Snyders for sharing their creepy imaginations with the community.
