Lincoln Woman's Club seeks donations for annual Operation Santa project

[September 28, 2020]    The Lincoln Woman's Club is once again this year working with the Central States group in providing socks and other items to fill them for our active troops in other countries.

The club will be working at the club building on October 7th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to put together these much-needed gift sets for our soldiers.

The club is seeking donations of the following travel size items:

  • Holiday greeting cards and thank you cards(no glitter)

  • lip balm

  • individual beef jerky sticks

  • black crew socks

  • individual drink mixes for bottled water

  • handi wipes(20-30 count max.)

  • individual store wrapped Twizzlers and Rice Krispy treats

  • packet packs of tissues (store wrapped)

  • small game books

  • dental floss(store wrapped)

  • granola bars (store wrapped)

  • chewing gum(foil punch out)

  • hard candy

  • breath mints

  • instant hot cocoa mix(individual packets)

  • USB Thumb Drives

The club also appreciates donations of money for postage. Please make checks payable to the Lincoln Woman's Club with a notation on the check "operation Santa."

Items should be brought to the Lincoln Woman's Club building, 230 North McLean Street in Lincon on October 7th.
