Millikin University to host In-Person Graduation Ceremonies May 16
Students and faculty only - no guests permitted

[April 01, 2021]   Millikin University will celebrate the Class of 2021 with two in-person Commencement ceremonies on Sunday, May 16, at Kirkland Fine Arts Center on Millikin's campus.

Undergraduate and graduate students, including doctoral students, will be honored during the ceremonies.

The first Commencement ceremony on May 16 will start at 9:30 a.m. and will recognize graduates from the College of Arts & Sciences, Tabor School of Business and graduates earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

The second Commencement ceremony on May 16 will start at 2:30 p.m. and will recognize graduates from the College of Fine Arts and College of Professional Studies as well as graduates earning a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).

Only May 2021 graduating students will be participating in the ceremonies. Due to CDC and State of Illinois COVID-19 restrictions, Kirkland Fine Arts Center capacity only allows for the graduating students, the platform participants on stage and representatives of the faculty inside Kirkland Fine Arts Center. Family, friends and other guests will not be able to attend the ceremonies.

Millikin community members will be able to watch the graduation ceremonies through a public livestream on Millikin's graduation website and Facebook page.

All individuals in attendance at the ceremonies will be required to wear a well-fitting face mask and participate in SHIELD Saliva-Based COVID-19 testing on campus. Participants will also be socially distanced before, during and after the ceremonies.
