Tuesday morning fire at Lincoln residence causes significant damage

On the morning of Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 8:42 a.m., the Lincoln Fire Department received a call for a structure fire at 102 Sixth Street.

Upon arrival, Lincoln firefighters found heavy smoke and fire coming from inside the home.  Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire.

Lincoln Fire was assisted by the Lincoln Police Department, Logan County Paramedics Association, Lincoln Rural Fire Protection District, Atlanta and Mount Pulaski Fire Departments.

The fire did an estimated damage of $200,000 and is still under investigation by the Lincoln Fire Department
