Woods & Bates P.C. to acquire Phillip M. Kirby Law Office
Established Lincoln law firm will continue Mason City legal practice

Woods & Bates P.C. of Lincoln, Illinois, has entered into an agreement to acquire Phillip M. Kirby’s law office, located in Mason City, Illinois.

After decades of practicing law in Mason City and Springfield as a solo practitioner, attorney Phillip M. Kirby, “Phil,” has decided to transition to retirement. He began practicing in Mason City over 37 years ago.

William "Blinn" Bates, Jr. and Michael T. Fleshman of Woods & Bates P.C. in Lincoln, Illinois, have reached an agreement with Phil to acquire the Mason City firm.

Woods & Bates will continue to provide the same high-quality legal services that businesses and individuals have come to expect from Phil and will continue to operate at the same Mason City office location at 152 East Chestnut Street.

Blinn and Michael extend their sincere congratulations to Phil on his distinguished career and his transition to retirement. Phil has been recognized as a Super Lawyer by the West Company.
