[August 27, 2021]  MIDDLETOWN - Cheryl Daniels, 65, of Middletown, passed away on August 19, 2021, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Visitation:  10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln

Service:  11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home

Obituary

Cheryl Daniels, 65, of Middletown, passed away on August 19, 2021, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Cheryl was born on December 19, 1955 in Lincoln, daughter of Marlin James “Jake” and Ruth (Taylor) Lowe. She married James Leroy Daniels “Pops” on March 31, 1973, in Lincoln. He preceded her in death on September 28, 2018.

Surviving Cheryl are her children, Jerry (Elizabeth) Daniels, Jessica (David “Tubby”) Sullivan, and Joseph (Jamie) Daniels, all of Middletown; two brothers, Robert James Lowe and Marlin James (Jatana) Lowe, both of Middletown; one sister, Jackie Augustine of Florida; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James; her son, James Daniels Jr.; and her two grandchildren, Emery Daniels and Bethany Sullivan.

Cheryl enjoyed sewing, knitting, camping and above all else her grandkids and enjoying life.

Services for Cheryl will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln. Visitation will take place one hour prior to service (10:00-11:00am) also at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Lawndale Cemetery in Lawndale.

Memorials may be made in Cheryl’s name to The MS Foundation.
