The Logan County Genealogical & Historical Society will be closed
for at least eight weeks while we have work done to clear the smoke
smell and have restoration work done to correct that damage from a
fire in an adjacent building. The work will start soon. We hope to
have the Society open again by the end of February. We will update
that information if we can open sooner or need to stay closed
longer.
It has been announced John Fuller's book, "A Deeper Dive Into the
Good Government Council of Logan County," has been nominated by
Leigh Henson for recognition by the Illinois State Historical
Society.
