Local Salvation Army in dire need of donations and volunteers to ring the bells for the Red Kettle Campaign

[December 14, 2021]     The Lincoln Salvation Army relies heavily on the donations received annually through its Red Kettle Campaign fund services administrated locally.

In 2020, the Salvation Army suffered a considerable reduction in funding through the kettle campaign, coming up $14,000 short of the annual goal.

This year, it is even more critical that the campaign reach its goal of $30,000 for the local programs. As of this week, the campaign has raised only $5,000, with Christmas being just two weeks away.

The funds raised this year will go toward food, utility, and rent assistance for those in need in Logan/Mason County in the coming year, and the demand for these services is great.

The Salvation Army needs your help and support in these difficult economic times. Please consider giving to the Red Kettle Campaign. No donation is too small as all those small donations can add up to a considerable sum put to very good use.

The Salvation Army also needs bell ringers, who will ring the bell for a shift encouraging passers to drop something in the bucket.
