[December 14, 2021]  MASON CITY - Brenda J. Jones, 55, of Mason City, passed away December 13, 2021 at 11:39 a.m. at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL surrounded by her family.

Visitation:  4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday December 16, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Mason City

Service:  11:00 a.m. Friday December 17, 2021 at the funeral home

Obituary

Brenda J. Jones, 55, of Mason City, passed away December 13, 2021 at 11:39 a.m. at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL surrounded by her family.

She was born March 22, 1966 in Lincoln, to Jack O. and Bonnie (Leininger) Jones. She graduated from Mason City High School in 1985, from Spoon River College in Canton, and St. Francis School of Nursing in Peoria, IL. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mason City.

Surviving is her mother Bonnie Jones of Mason City, IL; her sons, Dalton (Jamie) Knazavich of Pekin, Caleb Knazavich of Mason City, grandsons, Jack and Mason Knazavich; brother Deron Jones of Pahrump, NV; significant other, Jeff Belcher of Mason City, niece Kaylee Jones and nephew Derek Jones of Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her father Jack O. Jones.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday December 17, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Mason City with Pastor Luke Wolford officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday December 16, 2021 also at the church. Burial will take place at Mason City Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Mason City.
