December 12, 2021 in Marion, Texas surrounded by her family at the
age of 78.

Gloria Faye Scott Reynolds passed in
peace Sunday, December 12, 2021 in Marion, Texas
surrounded by her family at the age of 78.
Gloria was born on October 24, 1943 in Mount
Pulaski, to Mary (Peggy) Downing Scott and Dean
Scott, the third of four daughters.
She married David K. Reynolds on July 15, 1961 and
were married for 55 years. Together Gloria and David
raised two children, Janet E (Glass) Johnsen of
Marion, Texas and William (Bill) S Reynolds, of
Seguin, Texas.
Gloria was a homemaker and later became a
cosmetologist where she had her own salon. She also
worked for Franklin Life Insurance and the Illinois
State Police.
Gloria was a gifted seamstress and quilting was her
passion. She loved spending time with her family and
her two dogs. |
Gloria was preceded in death by her
husband, parents, sisters Kathy (Howe) Richardson
and Deborah (Vincent) Klein and granddaughter Baby
Jill Reynolds. Surviving Gloria is her sister, Judy
(Lyndel) Emrick, her daughter, Janet, son, William
(Bill), four granddaughters, one grandson and one
great granddaughter.
Gloria will be laid to rest in Mount Pulaski
Cemetery and a celebration of life service will be
held at a later date.
