[December 17, 2021]

County Clerk, Theresa Moore announces registered voters in Logan County will be receiving new Voter Registration Cards in the mail within the next week. As required by law, Election Officials are mandated to purge certain voters from the county's voter rolls every two years. The Voter Registration purge is a way for counties to keep their voter databases as updated as possible.

Clerk Moore urges voters to inspect the new card carefully to make sure that all printed information is correct. Due to redistricting, some voters may notice a change in their districts. Voters should sign their new card and destroy the old card.

If you receive a card for an individual that no longer lives at the address where the card was delivered, please mark on the Voter ID card "Not at this address" and return to our office.

Moore noted the next Election will be the General Primary on June 28, 2022. For information regarding the purge or any election related matters, please contact our office at 217-732-4148 or by email at elections@
