[December 20, 2021]  Christmas is soon approaching and the youth services department has some fun activities in a Santa Grab-n-Go Kit that kids ages 2-12 years of age will love. Each Santa kit includes: a Reindeer craft, an additional surprise craft, coloring sheets, a packet of cocoa, a candy cane, a couple of cute toys, and a few other surprises. Pick yours up starting Monday, December 13 in the youth services department before they are gone.

Mark your calendars for Frozen Day at the library on Saturday, January 15th. Starting at 10:00AM we will have a special story time, make and take crafts tables, and goodie bags (while supplies last). At 10:30AM, Olaf and Anna will be here for a special picture opportunity.

The Lincoln Public Library is located at 725 Pekin St., with adult nonfiction and reference materials in the historic Carnegie Building. The Annex directly behind houses adult fiction and the Youth Services Department.

All library events are free and open to the public.

E-mails and text messages – Our computer program allows patrons to receive texts and/or
e-mails for notification of reserved items and overdue notices. If you are interested in this service, please talk to a member of our Circulation Staff.

PIN Numbers – Don’t forget to take advantage of a PIN number (password) for your account. With a PIN, you can search the entire POLARIS system, see what items you have out, and request and renew books from home.

Gift Certificates – Need a gift idea? You can purchase a one year Library card for an individual or complete family that lives out of the library district. We will provide a gift certificate for presenting, and the recipient can bring it in, along with a photo ID and proof of address to receive their own Library Card.

Book Clubs - The Annex Building Circulation Desk collects reading lists for all the Book Clubs in the area. So if you can’t remember what you read or what you are supposed to read, we have you covered. Drop off your lists at the Circulation Desk.
