Lincoln Youth Wrestling competed in the Clinton
Challenge youth wrestling tournament Sunday December 19th, the
result were as follows.
Tot Division (6 & under)
Owen Crawford and Blue Glenn both placed 2nd.
Bantam Division (Ages7&8)
Jayce Naugle and Major Kopochius were champions.
Keaton parish and Carter Johnson all placed 2nd.
Beckett King, Damien Fulk took 3rd.
Grant Tierney, Gauge Danison placed 4th.
Intermediate Division (Ages 9&10)
Beau Melton placed 3rd.
Tatum Bateson, Jayce king, Barrett Grenlund and Gram Tierney
took 4th.
As a team Lincoln Youth Wrestling earned a 12th place out of 30
teams with 172 points.
Mattoon Youth Wrestling Club won the tournament with 276 points,
Olympia Youth Wrestling was 2nd with 261 points and SOTC the
Compound Wrestling Club took 3rd with 261 points while the host
Clinton Wrestling Club was 4th with 257 points.
Lincoln Youth Wrestling will be traveling to El Paso Gridley
High School January 2nd to compete at the Titan Rumble Wrestling
Tournament.
