Hooding Ceremony since 1919

Lincoln College held its first Hooding Ceremony for graduate
students last Friday, December 10. The event marked the first time
since 1919 Lincoln College has honored master’s degree candidates.
Sixteen students from the graduating cohort were hooded for their
completion of the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership or
Master of Business Administration degrees.
The following students were awarded a Master of Science in
Organizational Leadership:
John Bounds
Vicki Falls
Jessica Gains
Antoinette Harris
Jessica Hinthorne
Tammy Huffington
Heather Leary
Clara Owens
Olivia Partlow
James Trask
The following students were awarded a Master of Business
Administration:
Lindsey Clem
Connor Dugan
Kristen Goodchild
Nora Parker
Michelle Story
Devonna Vaught-Johnson
President Dr. David Gerlach lead the processional opening Lincoln College's
Master's Degree Hooding Ceremony. Sixteen students held the distinct honor of
being the first Master's Degree recipients in 102 years in the university's 156
year history.
In the return to graduate studies at LC, 10 students received Science
Organizational Leadership and six students Business Administration master
degrees.
Board of Trustees Chairman Patrick Doolin welcomed everyone and later closed
with the benediction.

The National Anthem was conducted virtually.
Vice President of Academic Affairs Donna Bradley, Ph.D., J.D. offered a warm
greeting and compliments to those who accomplished much in their studies.
Each student then came forward for the honorary hooding and congratulatory
handshake.
