On December 15th, the drawing for a Ducati battery-powered motorbike was held at Rent One in Lincoln. Store Manager Corey Amenda did the honors as Karen Hargis of the Friends and Family Relay Team held the box of raffle tickets.

The bike was donated to the Friends and Family team by Rent One. The relay team sold raffle tickets all summer long with all the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.

The winner of the bike was Brad Martin of San Jose.

Martin came to Lincoln on December 21st and picked up the bike at Rent One. Martin said he recalled buying his tickets at the Logan County Fair this past summer. He said that he tries to support local fundraisers whenever possible and always does what he can to support fundraising for cancer awareness.

Martin said he has three grandchildren who would have loved to see the bike under the tree this year. Because he didn't want to choose, he said that he would keep the cycle at his house, and all three kids could enjoy it when they visit grandpa.

The Friends and Family Relay Team would like to thank Rent One for their generous donation. Also, a big thank you to all those who purchased tickets for the bike this year.

The staff of Rent one, Amenda, Laurie Ballard, Roger Matson, and Carl Green, joined Martin and Hargis for a photo on pick-up day.
