State Sen. Sally Turner (R-Beason) has been chosen to be the new
Minority Spokesperson for the Senate Tourism and Hospitality
Committee during the 102nd General Assembly. Sen. Turner was also
appointed as a member of six other Senate committees.
"It is an honor and privilege to be chosen as the Minority
Spokesperson for the Senate Tourism and Hospitality Committee," said
Sen. Turner. "Our state's tourism and hospitality industry has been
one of the hardest hit industries since the beginning of the
COVID-19 pandemic. Now more than ever, it is critical to represent
the interests of the industry to help ensure it makes a full
recovery."
