Cynthia Kelley support for Rick Hoefle

To the editor:

As a volunteer for the Citizens to Elect Richard Hoefle Committee, I am writing to recommend Rick Hoefle for City Council, Ward 4 Alderman. I have met very few people whose professional accomplishments are so impressive. Mr. Hoefle has spent 35 years as an investigator, litigator and auditor investigating fraud in the insurance industry. He has never been afraid to speak up, voice his concerns, and criticize when he felt appropriate. But most importantly, if he criticizes, he also offers solutions.

He is also quite active volunteering in the community. The Oasis, Odd Fellows Day Care, Susan G. Komen Center, Special Olympics, and St. Jude’s is a small sampling of the organizations benefiting from Rick’s support through the years.

When asked for his input, Rick always looks at both sides of an issue and seeks to explain as much as possible to those involved. His concern is, and will always be, “is it in the best interest of the citizens”. He will listen, discuss, agree or disagree, and then vote for the people.

[to top of second column]

I would be quite surprised if you could have a better qualified and more well-rounded candidate than Mr. Hoefle. I have found him to be a person of integrity and character who is highly motivated and committed to serving others.

I strongly urge you to vote in the Primary Election. If you are unable to vote on Feb 23rd, you can take the opportunity to vote early on the second floor of the Courthouse. You can also vote by mail by contacting the county clerk at 217-732-4148.

Thank you
Cynthia Kelley
