The staff at Lincoln Public Library District's mission is to provide
the best service to our community. In order to best serve patrons a
new phone system is being installed at the library.
The new phone system will allow patrons to leave voice mail messages
for library staff. The system will also include hand held devices
that will allow staff to continue the phone call while searching for
items the patron is requesting.

The new system will be installed on Thursday afternoon. As such, phone lines
will be down on Thursday from 2:00 pm to close. Although the phone lines will be
down, the library will be open.
“Please be patient with us as we get acquainted with our new system. We are and
will always be here to serve you,” Library Director Mike Starasta.
