Mount Pulaski edges out Midwest Central 63-60
Grant Davis leads Hilltoppers with 22 points

The Mount Pulaski Hilltoppers continued their basketball road trip in the month of February this weekend. This time the Hilltoppers traveled to Manito on Friday night to take on Midwest Central. The Hilltoppers escaped Manito with a 63-60 win over the Raiders.

The Hilltoppers held a 34-23 lead at the half but the Raiders made a run in the third quarter. At the end of three quarters, Mount Pulaski held a slim 45-43 advantage. Grant Davis and Aidan Schneider combined to score 17 of the Hilltoppers 18 fourth quarter points. Thanks to the Raiders missing two shot attempts at the end of the game, Mount Pulaski escaped with a 63-60 win.

Grant Davis led the Hilltoppers with 22 points. Aidan Schneider had 14 points for Mount Pulaski.

In the JV game, Mount Pulaski beat Midwest Central 50-40. Alec Martin led Mount Pulaski with 14 points. Gavin Smith tossed in 10 points for the Hilltoppers.
