Pana defeats Mount Pulaski 68-36

[February 28, 2021]  Mount Pulaski hosted Pana Saturday afternoon and the Panthers handed the Hilltoppers a 68-36 loss.

The Panthers pulled away early in the game, taking an 18-7 lead after one quarter of play. By halftime the Panthers were on top 45-25. It got worse for the Hilltoppers. A 65-34 Pana lead at the end of three quarters was the result. Pana goes on to win easily, 68-36 the final score.

Lane Murphy and Aidan Schneider led Mount Pulaski with 11 points each.

Pana placed four players in double-figures.

Mount Pulaski falls to 7-3 on the season. 

In the JV game Pana defeated Mount Pulaski 47-37. Landon Smith led the Hilltoppers with 9 points.

The Hilltoppers will play at Hartsburg-Emden Tuesday night. Game time TBD.
