Lady Railers fall to Mahomet-Seymour 58-43

[February 28, 2021]  The Lady Railers lost Saturday afternoon to the Mahomet-Seymour Lady Bulldogs 58-43.

The Lady Railers found themselves trailing 13-9 after the first quarter and by halftime it was a 34-21 deficit to overcome.

The Lady Bulldogs maintained a 46-35 lead after three quarters of play.

Mahomet-Seymour placed three players in double-figures as the Lady Bulldogs picked up the 58-43 win over Lincoln.

Kloe Froebe led all scorers with 23 points.

Lincoln falls to 5-6 on the season.

In the JV game Lincoln defeated Mahomet-Seymour 43-36.

Becca Heitzig led the Lady Railers with 17 points. Jazmyn Robbins tossed in 12 points for Lincoln.

The Lady Railers will play at Mattoon Monday night. The JV game will start at 6 p.m. The Varsity game will start at 7:30 p.m.

*Senior Night for the Lady Railers will be Tuesday night as they host Athens at Roy S. Anderson Gymnasium. The ceremony will take place following the JV game. The JV game is scheduled for 6 p.m. The Varsity is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
