to Lincoln City Council

[January 05, 2021]   LINCOLN - Alderman Jeff Hoinacki is proud to announce he is seeking re-election to continue his representation of Ward 4 on Lincoln’s City Council.

Elected in 2007, Hoinacki has focused on helping lead Lincoln in staying fiscally responsible. In addition to helping the city budget stay in the black, Hoinacki voted “yes” on the plan to turn Jefferson School into a new headquarters for the Lincoln Police Department. That plan allowed the city to save money on construction costs, while enabling the police department and Logan County Sheriff’s Office to each have their own headquarters.

“I am proud to be a life-long resident of Lincoln and to have another opportunity to represent the best interests of residents in Ward 4,” Hoinacki said. “We have faced a number of challenges together and, with your support, I hope to continue using my experience to bring a respectful, positive, and cooperative voice to city council that the residents of Lincoln rightfully deserve.”

Hoinacki promises to continue to listen to all sides of city issues and vote for what he feels will be best to improve the quality of life for everyone who calls Lincoln home. That includes Hoinacki furthering his commitment to support initiatives for Lincoln’s police, fire, and first responders to keep the city safe.

Hoinacki is a retired correctional officer who spent 30 years working at Lincoln Correctional Center. He is the devoted husband of Katie, father of three wonderful children, and grandfather of four energetic grandchildren.

The Lincoln Municipal Election will be February 23, 2021.
