Donna J. Atteberry, 81, of Crown Point, Ind., formerly of Atlanta, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020, in Crown Point.

Memorial Services may be held at a later date. Cremation Rites have been accorded.

Donna Joe Ford was born on June 1, 1939, in Wilmington, Ohio, the daughter of Joel and Virginia Lee Jones Ford.

She is survived by her daughter, Ronda Atteberry Trader; her son Rodney (Cheryl) Atteberry; three grandchildren: David Trader, Brittany Atteberry-Kramer, and Andrea Mock; three great-grandchildren: Michael Trader, Lincoln Kramer, and Carson Kramer; two brothers: Robert Ford and Dennis Ford; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother: Jim Ford.

 

She graduated from the Atlanta Community High School in 1957.

While living on the farm, Donna had her own upholstery business, even rehabbing a 'surrey with the fringe on top.' Donna made several amazing quilts and recorded the date she completed them. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Per Donna's wishes, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Wounded Warrior Project.
