The first step in moving the completed case to the Lincoln Heritage Museum.


CAREFUL!

 

 

 

Now, the case is ready for the trip to the museum.


 

 

And the journey begins.


All hands on deck to steady the case on the journey to its new home.

 


Interim Director of the LHM Olivia Partlow waits for her new exhibit.


The large glass cover is moved into place.


The glass cover is fitted into the frame.

 


Jason is securing the glass cover with brass screws into the frame.


The frame and glass cover are fitted into the display back. It now weighs about 400 pounds. It took all four of the volunteers to lift it.

 


The crew that made the move a success. It went like clockwork.
