[January 22, 2021]  BEASON - Terry C. Winter, 66, of Lincoln, formerly of Beason, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at his home.

Service: A private family graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Waynesville.

Terry C. Winter, 66, of Lincoln, formerly of Beason, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at his home.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Waynesville.

Terry C. Winter was born in Lincoln on October 22, 1954, the son of Marvin H. and Phyllis J. Rich Winter. Terry is preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his mother; two brothers: Darwin Gene Winter, Mossville, and Steven (Debby) Winter, Bloomington; four nieces and nephews: Erin (Chad) Keefe, Chrissy (Steve) Rustemeyer, Tim (Kelly) Winter, and Scott (Ashley) Winter; and nine great-nieces and great-nephews: William Keefe, Andrew Rustemeyer, Mackenzie Winter, Delaney Keefe, Allison Rustemeyer, Tyler Rustemeyer, Josie Winter, August Winter, and Amelia Winter.

Funeral Director

Terry was a graduate of Beason Community High School and attended Lincoln College. He had worked at the Mitsubishi manufacturing plant in Normal, Kenney Grain Elevator in Kenney, and as road commissioner for Orin Township. Terry attained the rank of Eagle Scout in his youth, was active in high school sports and band, enjoyed attending rock concerts, riding his Harley, and living life to its fullest.

Memorials may be made to an organization of the donor's choice.

Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of Atlanta.
