[July 14, 2021]   The summer is flying by but it is not too late to participate in the Lincoln Public Library District’s Summer Reading Program, Reading Colors Your World. There is a program and prizes for all ages and registration is open throughout the program.

Some upcoming events at the Library include a Unicorn story time on the Carnegie lawn on Thursday, July 15 at 10:00AM. Followed by an opportunity to get your picture taken with the Unicorn inside the Annex building. Each week the library provides take home educational craft kits for grades K – 12.

To wrap up the summer program season, Silly Safaris will be at the Library on Thursday, July 22 at 10:00AM to delight and entertain the kids and adults with live animals.

There will be a variety of reptiles, mammals, birds, and bugs for an experience you will never forget. As a special finale treat, UCB Bank will be providing ice cream and a bouncy house from 11:00AM – 2:00PM for program participants. Be sure to bring your sunscreen, a blanket to sit on, and a camera.
