[July 13, 2021]    The Lincoln Park District Aquatic Center is now open and anxious to host swimmers of all ages to come and cool down this summer in one of our many pools. The center offers everything from water play to lap swimming and accommodates youth and adults of all ages.

NOTE: Due to the new Illinois law regarding childcare: When using the Lincoln Park District pool you must be 12 years of age or older to enter by yourself. If your child is under the age of 12 they must be accompanied by someone 15 years of age or older.

On the second Tuesday of each month, the Lincoln Park District offers a Family Fun Day. During "Christmas in July" Family Fun Day, non-perishable foods will be collected for the local food pantry. Bring a can of food for your admission into our facility.

Please save the date of August 13th for our Birthday Party Family Fun Day. At the birthday party, items will be accepted for the Mom's Who Care project as the admission fee.

Did you know we also offer Family night swim nights and Teen swim nights?

The first and third Tuesdays of each month is "Family Swim Night" from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The second and fourth Tuesday evenings of the month are "Teens Only" swim nights from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. These nights are open to teen swimmers 13 to 19 years of age. The teens will have fun learning games like Sharks and Menos. Be sure to encourage your teen to join in on the fun this summer at the Aquatic Center.

More about the Lincoln Park District Aquatic Center (from the LPD website)

The Lincoln Park District invites you to come out and experience a day of fun and sun in our pool. We have a new menu from the concession stand that will enable you and your family to enjoy lunch and spend the day either playing in the zero-depth toddler pool, splashing around with friends in the lap pool or taking a trip down our giant yellow slide that ends up in the plunge pool. Other amenities include shaded areas with lounge chairs to take a break from the hot sun and still have a good view of your kids that just don’t want to get out of the water. Locker rooms and showers are also available to the public when entering and exiting the pool area. We also offer an ADA chair lift if needed and easy access stair cases in the lap and plunge pool for your convenience.
