[July 15, 2021]

Corn Belt Energy residential members who are enrolled in our Rate 11 load control program will not experience an interruption in electrical service tomorrow. Impending storms, rain and wet conditions caused concern for those utilizing sump pumps. The test will be rescheduled for later this summer.

Cooperative members who participate in Rate 11 allow Corn Belt Energy to interrupt power to their meter during a few electric peak periods from June 1 through September 30. In exchange for allowing us to manage peak load, members participating in the Rate 11 program receive a lower energy rate.

Members who participate in this voluntary program should contact us at 800-879-0339 if they have questions about the Rate 11 program.
