On
a beautiful Sunday afternoon, a Memorial Day service was
held on the hill at Hartsburg Cemetery. The intimate
group of patriotic guests remembered soldiers who gave
their all and heard from an excellent guest speaker.
On Monday, the American
Legion Post 263 in Lincoln hosted a Memorial Day
observance followed by their traditional ham and bean
dinner. After the service more than 40 veterans in
attendance came together for a group photo to
commemorate the day.
Lincoln Daily News visited multiple Memorial Day
observances on Sunday and Monday and will have coverage
from those events in future editions.
