1, 2021, at his home. |

Obituary
Robert M. Baker, Jr., 69, of Lincoln,
passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at his home.
Cremation Rites have been accorded.
A Memorial Service for Robert will be held on
Monday, June 7, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. at the Peasley
Funeral Home, following the visitation from 5:00
p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Mr. Mike Lake will officiate.
Robert Marlin Baker, Jr., was born December 7, 1951,
the son of Robert Marlin and Claire Wolters Baker.
He was united in marriage to Diane M. Denney on July
12, 1974. She preceded him in death on April 19,
2016.
Robert is survived by two sisters: Mary Rousey and
Barbra (Gary) Burdett, one brother: Bruce (Tina)
Baker; and many nieces and nephews. |
He was preceded in death by one
brother: Jon Baker.
Robert was a 1970 graduate of Lincoln Community High
School. Robert retired from the State of Illinois at
LDC, and then over the years worked part-time at
Coy's Car Center and Wal-Mart. He was a member of
the Mission Community Church.
Memorials may be made to an organization of the
donor's choice.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley
Funeral Home of Lincoln.
