[June 05, 2021]
Now through June 21st, the Lincoln Salvation Army is taking
applications for area youth to attend Eagle Crest Camp in Washburn
Illinois for a three day – two night camp experience July 8th
through 10th.
The camp is open to youth ages seven to 17.
There is no cost to the children for the camp and transportation to
and from camp will be provided through the Salvation Army.
With the pandemic, the camp had to be canceled last year, and camp
organizers are looking forward to providing a safe and fun activity
for area youngsters this year.
The Lincoln Salvation Army also needs to provide two volunteer camp
helpers. Those helpers need to be one male and one female over the
age of 18. Kids will stay in their geographic groups to help assure
safety. Volunteers will assist by walking the kids to their
activities throughout the day and also monitoring the kids in the
cabins.

are informed about any special needs, medication requirements during the child’s
stay at the camp.

Lincoln Salvation Army at 217-732-7890 for more information and to start the
