60th Anniversary

[June 09, 2021]   Jim and Nancy Ireland will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary this Friday, June 11th.

The couple was married on June 11th, 1961, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lincoln. They were the first couple to be married in that church.

They raised two daughters, Sherry (Rob) of Parrish, Florida and Brenda of Lincoln.

Jim retired in 2002 from the Illinois Department of Transportation. Nancy retired from the accounting department of St. John's Hospital in 2001.

The couple is planning a celebration with family.
