The Lincoln Community Theatre presentation of The Grunch opens this
weekend, but not without some fanfare as we approach the 50th season
of LCT.
At the 2021 summer shows, performed at Lincoln Community High
School’s auditorium, LCT will be able to host many returning alumna,
with the first group kicking off The Grunch.
Lauren Stanfield, Barry and Julie King, Aaron Hinton, Emmary Roemer,
Brian Bolton, Grace Mathon, Austin Garriott and Betsy Buttell will
also be featured prior to the official start of The Grunch youth
musical with songs from several Broadway favorites, a perfect
compliment to the performance of The Grunch, which has multiple
references to Broadway shows strewn throughout.
Grunch directors Tim Searby and Sheralyn Bolton will also get their
chance at the spotlight with solo numbers as will LCT president and
Once Upon a Mattress director Brandon Davis.
Memorable Broadway shows with tunes highlighted include: Gypsy, Dear
