Atlanta Alumni Association cancels
2021 banquet
Moving forward with plans for Memorial Day
weekend 2022

The Atlanta Alumni Association has made the difficult decision to
not hold its 100th Anniversary banquet in 2021 due to the ongoing
coronavirus pandemic.
“Everyone is invited to join our Alumni in celebrating 100 years of
active participation in the Atlanta, Illinois’ school environment.
Although we are not able to celebrate our actual 100 years in 2021,
because of the continuing pandemic, we are confident that 2022 will
prove to be the year we can, again, enjoy activities that will
include all our Alumni, families, friends, and neighbors,” said
Donna Campbell, President of the Atlanta Alumni Association.
The Alumni Association has organized activities planned for the
whole 2022 Memorial Day weekend.

Look for a press release, early 2022, that will include: daily celebration
activities in Atlanta that everyone can participate in, additional things to do
and see in and around Atlanta, list of raffle and souvenir items, (with
pre-purchase information), local motel/hotel and restaurant options.
Campbell concluded, “Mark your calendars, to join the Atlanta Alumni 100th
Anniversary Celebration. Look for our press releases as we get closer to our
weekend bash. See YOU there !!”
