Hilltoppers defeat Warrensburg-Latham 45-38

[March 08, 2021]  Mount Pulaski hosted Warrensburg-Latham Friday night and picked up a great come-from-behind 45-38 win over the Cardinals.

Mount Pulaski trailed 10-7 after the first quarter. The Cardinals held a 22-18 lead at the half. Mount Pulaski battled back to tie the game in the third quarter 28-28. Mount Pulaski had five players score in the fourth quarter, with Clay Aylesworth tossing in six of his nine points to guide Mount Pulaski to the 45-38 victory.

Grant Davis and Lane Murphy would each lead the Hilltoppers in scoring with 12 points apiece. Aidan Schneider tossed in 10 points for Mount Pulaski.

Mount Pulaski improves to 9-3 on the season.

In the JV game the Hilltoppers won 49-36 over the Cardinals with Clay Aylesworth pouring in a career-high 27 points.
