[March 09, 2021]  A Lady Railer freshman is making history already. Kloe Froebe poured in 25 points for Lincoln on Monday night in Mount Zion, surpassing a 20-year old scoring record previously held by Steph Reichle. The old record was 417 points scored at the Varsity level by a freshman. Froebe surpassed that number on a layup mid-way thru the fourth quarter, giving her 23 points in the game. Froebe would go on to score one more time in the game and finish with 25 points. She now rests on the number 420 with two more games to go.

The Lady Railers eased out to an 11-7 first quarter lead over the Lady Braves on Monday night.

By halftime Lincoln held a 28-16 advantage.

The defense continued to pressure in the second half, and the scoring never let up as Lincoln commanded a 46-26 lead at the end of three.

The Lady Railers cruised through the fourth quarter and got the 58-38 win over the Lady Braves.

Lincoln improves to 8-8 on the season.

In the JV game the Lady Railers won 41-16 over Mount Zion. Imagin Werner led Lincoln with 9 points.

The two remaining games are:

Wednesday at Charleston
Thursday at home versus Taylorville

Both games are scheduled for JV at 6 p.m. and Varsity at 7:30 p.m.
