The Hartem Stags defeated the
Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals on Tuesday night in three exciting
sets of volleyball, 25-23, 23-25 and 25-19 the scores. Alaina
Bradburn and Brianna Grabowski each led the Stags with 6 kills.
Freshman Addie Beekman had 15 digs for Hartem.
Following the victory, Stags coach Jennifer Hayes, was pleased
with her team’s effort. “I was extremely excited to get the team
back on the court,” said Hayes. “It’s been a long time, too
long. I thought we looked good for our first outing. Definitely
not perfect, but a work in progress. We didn’t plan on a 3-set
battle right out of the shoot, but might as well hit the ground
running. It ended in our favor and the girls earned it.”
