Theodore "Ted" L. Park, Jr., 66, of Atlanta, passed away at 5:26
a.m. on Sunday, May 2, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center in
Springfield. |

Burial will be at a later date at the Atlanta
Cemetery.

Obituary
Theodore "Ted" L. Park, Jr., 66, of
Atlanta, passed away at 5:26 a.m. on Sunday, May 2,
2021, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. Burial will be
at a later date at the Atlanta Cemetery.
Theodore Leroy Park, Jr. was born November 1, 1954,
in Galesburg, the son of Theodore Leroy and Marion
Clayes Park.
Ted is survived by his children: Carolyn Park of
Orlando, Fla., James "J.R." (Stacy) Park of Atlanta,
Ill., Eric Park of Knoxville, Ill., and Alex Park of
Monmouth, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and six
siblings: three of Galesburg, Ill, include Pat
(Rose) Park Dorothy Park, and Marion (Danny) Groves,
Merry Staggs of Justin, Tex., and Danny Park and
Forrest Park. |
He was preceded in death by his
parents, one infant sister: Norma Jean; and one
granddaughter: Maranda Park.
He had worked in maintenance for Western Stoneware
in Monmouth.
Memorials may be made to Atlanta Rescue Squad.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley
Funeral Home.
