[May 13, 2021]  LINCOLN - Roy Logan, 63, of Lincoln passed away on Monday April 26, 2021 in the comfort of his own home.

Visitation:  A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln from 4:00-6:00pm.

Obituary

Roy Logan, 63, of Lincoln passed away on Monday April 26, 2021 in the comfort of his own home.

Roy was born on October 22, 1957 in Lincoln, the son of Edgar and Evelyn (Sloan) Logan.

Roy is survived by his brothers, Lee (Barbara) Logan of Peoria and John (Becky) Logan of Long Beach, MS; and his aunt, Helen Singley of Lincoln.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents.

Roy had a very outgoing personality; he loved talking and interacting with people which is one reason he was so successful at his job with marketing for Lincoln Daily News. Roy’s passion however was cooking; Roy hosted a local television show where he would teach people how to cook and he would also interview guests. He was the co-founder of the Pink Pumpkin Fundraiser in 2018. In his younger years he loved flying airplanes.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln from 4:00-6:00pm.

Memorial donations may be made in Roy’s name to The American Cancer Society please send all memorials to Friends and Family Relay in care of Lincoln Daily News at 601 Keokuk Street, Lincoln, IL, 62656.
