[May 14, 2021]    Early Registration for the “All For One Color Run” has now passed, but it isn’t too late to still participate in this “FUN-raiser” benefitting Hartsburg and Emden’s 150th celebrations.

The run will be held on Saturday June 5th with the full course starting at the Hartsburg-Emden High School Ball diamond and ending at the ball diamond in Emden.

For those who wish to come and have fun but not do the entire course, there are points along the route where YOU CAN JOIN IN TO CREATE A DISTANCE THAT WORKS BEST FOR YOU. You will be able to join or leave the course at any one of the five color stations.

As shown on the map, they are located at the beginning and end of the course, on the south and north ends of 700th Avenue between the Hartsburg blacktop and the Emden Spur, and mid-way down this section of 700th Avenue.

A map shows all points of the “All for One Color Run” so you can plot your course.

Run start times will be staggered beginning at 8:30 a.m., allowing bikes, runners, and walkers to depart separately to help everyone spread out a bit.

Nothing is timed. You just get to have FUN!!

At the “color” stations, you will be splashed with washable chalk. This will be a day where you can social distance by deciding where and when you are comfortable starting and stopping.

The route will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. There will be a limited number of t-shirts available for late registration up until race time.

Included in the entry fee are a t-shirt to get “colorized” during the race, sunglasses, water and a snack at the end. You get to add your own touch—beads, tutus, fun socks, boas, or wigs—again, whatever makes this FUN for you.

If you would like to purchase just a t-shirt, they are $15.

An entry form for the Color Run is provided here.

No vehicles are allowed on the route, and organizers will be providing bus service from Emden back to Hartsburg.

The Sons of the American Legion will be selling pork chops at the ball diamond in Emden, which is open to everyone.

Race packets will be distributed on Friday June 4th between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Hartem High School. If you want to join us virtually and have someone local who can pick up a kit for you, we would love for you to share your virtual race pictures with us on Facebook.
