[May 16, 2021]  LINCOLN - Dorothy “Dotty” Drew, 93, of Lincoln, formerly Godfrey, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.

Visitation:  11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at The Evangelical United Church of Christ in Godfrey.

Service:  1 p.m. Wednesday at the church

Obituary

Dorothy “Dotty” Drew, 93, of Lincoln, formerly Godfrey, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.

Dorothy was born on September 1, 1927 in Dow, the daughter of Bert F. and Sarah V. (Barringer) Feyerabend. She married Bob Drew on June 10, 1949. He preceded her in death on September 14, 1990.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Barbara (Sid) Belshe and James (Lisa) Drew; her four step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, William Joseph Drew; and her brother, Thomas Feyerabend.

 

Dorothy enjoyed cooking and spending time with her friends; her main focus in life was providing a loving home for her family. She and her husband Bob, owned and operated Drew’s Cards and Gifts in Jerseyville, where they helped many couples plan their weddings.

Services will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at The Evangelical United Church of Christ in Godfrey. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service (11:00am-1:00pm) also at the church.

Memorial Donations may be made in Dorothy’s name to The Evangelical United Church of Christ in Godfrey.

Services have been entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
