Heartland Community College Lincoln will have some fun and
educational in-person learning opportunities for both adults and
kids this summer.
June
Continuing Education: Adults can enjoy some summer fun and learn to
prepare delicious meals during the Kitchen Gadgets for Quick Cooking
– Continuing Education class.
Save time and meal-prep stress with the help of trusty kitchen
gadgets like air fryers and Instant Pot® appliances. Discover the
ins and outs of these tools as you master the techniques of quick
cooking. You will create a main dish, side and dessert – for a
complete meal!
This class will take place at the Lincoln campus on June 16, 2021
from 6:00-8:00pm. The course fee is $29. If you would like to

Kids @ Heartland: Children entering grades 3-5 and 6-8 will have an opportunity
to attend a 3-day camp all about pollination and its importance in our area.
Pollination Power will be hosted Wednesday, July 14 through Friday, July 16 from
9:00am to noon. Students will come to the Lincoln campus to learn about
pollinators in our area, how they work together and explore some habitats around
campus. Then, students will get to enjoy hands-on experiments and apply their
knowledge.
The early bird price is $65, and ends May 28th. After that, the course fee is
$75. Registration closes the Wednesday before class begins. To register, call
