Frederick W. Langley, 68, of Lincoln, formerly of Atlanta, passed
away at 3:58 a.m. on Monday, May 24, 2021, at OSF St. Joseph Medical
Center in Bloomington. |

Obituary
Frederick W. Langley, 68, of Lincoln,
formerly of Atlanta, passed away at 3:58 a.m. on
Monday, May 24, 2021, at OSF St. Joseph Medical
Center in Bloomington.
A Celebration of Fred's life will be held at a later
date. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
Frederick William Langley was born August 18, 1952,
in Lincoln, the son of Carl Frederick and Sarah M.
Carlin Langley.
Fred is survived by his children: Amy (Lance)
Babbitt, Misty (Cory) Bale, Patrick Langley,
Kristopher (Savanah) Langley, and Rebecca Langley;
eight grandchildren: Paige, Brianna, Emma, Noah,
Phoebe, Ayden, Alivia, and Ethan; two
great-grandchildren: Meira and Aliyah; three
brothers: Dean (Diane) Langley, Ronnie (Patricia)
Langley, and Timothy Langley; one sister: Debra
Fulk; and his special friend, Lisa Hancock and her
dog, Peanut. |
He was preceded in death by his
parents.
Fred was a truck driver. He enjoyed riding his
motorcycle, hunting, and spending time with his
grandkids.
Memorials may be made to the Illinois CancerCare in
Bloomington.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley
Funeral Home of Atlanta.
