Hart Named Lincoln Memorial Hospital September Colleague of Month

Janelle Hart of Athens, a physical therapist at Lincoln Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month for September.

Hart joined Lincoln Memorial Hospital in 2015 and led the inpatient physical therapy care team through the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment and overall colleague and patient safety. Through it all, Hart never lost focus on the team’s goal to provide the highest quality care to patients, said hospital officials.

Hart obtained her master’s degree in physical therapy from Bradley University.

Outside of work, Hart enjoys biking, gardening, snow skiing and spending time with her family, which includes three children and her spouse, who operates a small business in Springfield.

She also enjoys volunteering with the Athens Youth Sports Association and the Menard County chapter of Ducks Unlimited.
