On Friday morning, Logan County native John Fuller returned home from his residence in Florida to spend three days promoting and discussing his new book "A Deeper Dive into the Good Government Council of Logan County in 1950s Lincoln, Illinois." Fuller has donated a large quantity of the books to the Logan County Genealogical & Historical Society. Friday at the Guest House in Lincoln, he was signing books as they were purchased.

Members of LCGHS were also on hand and Fuller was offering a slideshow view of the contents of the books.

The entire proceeds of the $35 price goes to the LCGHS. Books remaining after the signing event will be sold by the LCGHS while supplies last. Anyone interested in purchasing a copy should email the society at logancoil1839@gmail.com. The society center is still temporarily closed as work is ongoing removing the smoke damage from the building and its contents, the result of an October fire in the building adjacent to the center.
