- Randall J. “J-Bird” Barnes, 58, of Lincoln, IL,
passed away on October 1, 2021, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital, Lincoln.

Obituary
Randall J. “J-Bird” Barnes, 58, of
Lincoln, IL, passed away on October 1, 2021, at
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln.
Randall was born on March 20, 1963, in Springfield,
the son of Joe and Lois (Williams) Barnes. Randall
married Maureen Kouts on November 3, 2007 in
Lincoln. She survives in Lincoln.
Randall is also survived by his children, Tiffany
(Travis Brady) Barnes of Lincoln, and James VanDyke
of Houston, TX; his step-children, Joshua James and
Allison James; his grandchildren, Macy Brady, Ryanne
Bober, and Amelia Bober; his siblings, Joe Barnes,
Ron Barnes, and Brenda Hunt.
Randall was preceded in death by his parents; his
brother, Kenny D. Barnes; and his sister, Sandra
Cody. |
A celebration of Randall’s life will
be announced at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made in Randall’s name to
The American Cancer Society, and floral arrangements
can be sent to 912 N. Jefferson Street, Lincoln.
