Danielle Phillips, daughter of Nora & Greg Phillips, was named the
October Student of the Month for the Culinary Arts program at
Lincolnland Technical Education Center.
Danielle is a Junior at Hartsburg-Emden High School. Ms. Kelly
Tripplett, instructor, says "Dani has shown great leadership in the
classroom. She is a team player and always willing to do any job,
even when they are not asked of her. Dani is a very hard worker and
doesn’t mind going the extra mile. Ms. Tripplett says Dani is a
self-starter and a pleasure to have in class. Dani has a wonderful
attitude, follows directions, and is always up for a challenge. She
is a great student and has the potential to be successful in any
field she pursues."
Danielle has been in Chess club for two years. She has also been in
Cheer for two years, Volleyball for three years, Yearbook, WYSE
competition and was in Westside Story the Musical.
Danielle’s future plans are to attend a local community college to
get her gen-eds done. Then she will transfer to a four-year
university.
